Tackle Your DIY To Do List
Yippee it’s finally happening, time to tackle your DIY to do list. That’s right that DIY for (please fill in the blank) on your to do list. Yes, that’s the one, it’s going to be done, you’ve blocked out time to meet and conquer. You have been gathering paint samples, fabric and wood sample too. You have been clipping magazine articles and you even created a board on Pinterest. All essentials of a great DIY project. Now it’s time, you take a deep breath and chant your, “I can do it “ mantra and…well….
The paint samples are mushed, bent and in the bottom of your purse, I refer to mine as the great abyss ( that reminds me, I really have to share some purse talk with you soon.) The article you had on the bulletin board has been replaced by a rainbow-colored dinosaur chasing a chicken and the “To Do List” has what you can only hope is, ketchup on it….Okay no problem, you’ve got this. Take another deep breath and head over to Pinterest where, well let’s be honest, you will spend the next hour looking and pinning. Trust me, I know this “squirrel moment” very well. Pinterest is often where many DIY’ers go to discover that thing you never realized you needed. Or that trick, tip, hack or something pretty that catches your attention. Your mind is now a whirl of chaos and you have added two more projects to your to do list.
Let me just stop here and say ….Help is on the way!
