I have a lot of wonderful summer memories from my childhood and they all center around 2 week vacations at the Jersey shore with my immediate family and my grandparents. Lovely hot days on the beach and nights sleeping on the enclosed porch listening to the waves all night long. I looked into renting a couple of years ago but it is just so crazy expensive now I would never be able to enjoy myself, lol. We camp in the state we are in now and I love this too.
