Positive Affirmations

Hello friends, I hope this finds you starting your day with a smile. Do you remember little Aayan who walked to school every day repeating 3 positive affirmations? God bless that child he made the whole world smile, and what an amazing Mother he has. She is a true testament of the power of love, she taught him the affirmations when he was two. Someone asked me once, “do positive affirmations really work?” I replied, “They do, but you do the work, not the affirmations.” I think I should have elaborated a bit more because the truth is positive affirmations are a wonderful tool for inspiring positivity. It takes a personal commitment to self-care for them to work well.

Positive affirmations can make a profound difference in our self- acceptance, and self- esteem.

Positive affirmations are not magic words; they are positive statements or reminders that can be a catalyst for change, a reassurance of faith, and a reminder of the power of positive thinking.

Studies have shown that positive affirmations can stimulate the areas in the brain that make us more likely to effect positive changes.

Repetition is the best way to build a positive way of thinking.
Positive affirmations can help you to challenge and overcome negative thoughts and behavior, by repeating them often, and opening your mind to the power of positive thinking.

It is well documented that physical activity, healthy eating, proper rest, and exercise lead to a healthy body.

I believe faith and expressing positive affirmations regularly can lead to a healthy mind, positive self-esteem, less stress, increase your confidence (especially if you are feeling uncertain), and remind or ignite positive changes in your day, and in your life.

I encourage you to take a faith-filled step in a positive direction, stop negative talk, break bad habits, and harness the power of positive thinking using positive affirmations.

I also encourage the use of affirmations during meditation as mantras (a word, sentence or sound repeated to aid in concentration during prayer and meditation). The power of positive affirmations is to recite your affirmations several times a day. I share positive mantra/affirmations on my Zen Spirit Malas Facebook page HERE every week.

Positive affirmations are non-denominational.
