Peaceful Moments
Hello friends, I was siting on the couch with Izzy watching the snow fall and I thought how peaceful it all felt. It took me away from the chaos and sadness of the world. It was surely needed. If you are like me, you are sincerely empathetic and praying a lot more lately as the insanity in the Ukraine brings on heavy hearts, tears and deep sadness.
Are you feeling overwhelmed with sadness and worry over the current world situation?
Finding peaceful moments when others are suffering does not make you a bad person. You can take that moment, I promise you, it is needed and it is okay. Turn off the news with its cacophony of loss and sadness, don’t read the newspaper, step away from it all, for a few hours or for an entire day.
Please don’t let negative thoughts or what could happen ideas become overwhelming.
Be still, be tranquil and have your peaceful moment. Listen to your inner voice telling you to relax. Give yourself a break. It is easy to get consumed by worry and sadness when the world is in such deep unrest. Release it for a little while, give it to God. He wants you to have peaceful moments too. Be prayerful and be kind to yourself.
Wishing you peaceful moments xo

my pleasure my friend xo
Thank you, Katherine, for posting this much-needed reminder that we can briefly step away from the current world situation to calm minds and hearts. I personally get very stirred up from watching the news and need to restrain my time doing so even when I want to be informed. Time spent away from the turmoil is definitely needed. Hugs to you~
It’s my pleasure to share with you. Hugs!
Step away from the chaos and the news and listen to God.
Snow is peaceful. I wish we saw it more here.
And yes, turned clocks forward. I hate spring forward. I needed that hour of sleep.
Hello my friend, God knows all, He wants us to know we can step away for a while without losing our empathy. Daylight savings means take a nap when you can ( smile). Hugs!!!
I’m taking your advice. God is still King
Thank you Gail, He knows stepping away for a while will not cause us to lose our empathy. Hugs!
So true Katherine. We all need peace and praying for resolution for the Ukrainian people but they have suffered so much already. Stay well friend. XO- MaryJo
Thank you sweet friend, it is heart crushing to see the turmoil. It’s okay to step away for a bit. Wishing you a beautiful day my thoughtful friend. xo
