Memorial Day 2022
Hello friends, it’s the unofficial start to summer today! The purpose of Memorial Day is remembered even amidst plans for barbecued everything. The sound of pool belly flops shouldn’t drown out its significance. It is important to remember that today is the day we honor the veterans. They made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. But, I think it’s also important to recognize those who are currently serving. I know that’s what Veteran’s Day is for. We should also acknowledge the families of loved ones who have passed on. Additionally, we should honor those who have served. We should also honor those who currently serve. They are the dedicated warriors we can always rely on.
