Hello friends, it’s hot outside! We have had a heat advisory today. I hope you are staying cool where you are. Lets be honest, when it is as hot as the surface of the sun nobody wants to spend much time in the kitchen. So I’m sharing some easy and flavorful recipes for a hot summer dinner with you today. These recipes will get you in and out of a hot kitchen quick as a wink. Enjoy!
We picked our first zucchini the other day, it was amazing! Our garden is just starting to look like, well, a garden. The heat slows growth, but our zucchini don’t seem to mind it. I do see zucchini bread in our future ( smile). I invite you to try some of my yummy zucchini recipes, HERE.
Okay so lets keep it super simple with a meat lovers favorite. Grilled Steak Salad.
We eat a lot of fish, we love it! The best part is 99% of it is caught my hubby (smile). I think you will love this wonderful salmon and potatoes meal, we do. Its best with fresh asparagus.
Now a little something for the veggie lovers. This tomato flatbread recipe will become a favorite straight a way. Fresh tomatoes are key. So, if you’re not growing them, you will need to make a trip to your local market and pick the best of the best. It also helps to support US farmers. (smile)
