Hello friends, thank you for visiting, I hope you are enjoying the Sunday Blessings blog series and free printables. Today’s verse is from the book of Philippians 1:9-11 NIV “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.”

Philippians 1:9-11 (NIV), what does it mean?

Learning how to love with knowledge and discernment is absolutely essential if we are to be “filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ”. We must behave in a manner worthy of the gospel, and then we will know the difference between the good and the bad, so that we can give our attention to the things that are good. When we experience a deeper love for God it will mean a fuller understanding of unconditional love which will result in a life worthy of God.
