Refreshing Summer Drinks
Hello friends, this summer let’s beat the heat while sipping some refreshing non-alcoholic drinks. When the sun is blazing and the days are long, the only thing on your mind is staying cool. I know a frosty beer or a crisp glass of wine might be tempting. But, there are delicious and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks just waiting to quench your thirst this summer. Here are a few suggestions to keep you feeling refreshed all season long

Drink your Fruits and Vegetables!
Sparkling water becomes instantly more exciting with the addition of fresh berries, fruit slices and chunks of melon. Let’s get creative with these refreshing combinations!
- Strawberry Basil- Mix fresh strawberry slices and a few basil leaves in a glass. Top with sparkling water and a squeeze of lime.
- Cucumber Mint Cooler– Thinly slice cucumber and gently crush a few mint leaves. Add them to a glass of crushed ice and water (sparkling water if you prefer).
- Watermelon Rosemary Refresh– Blend watermelon and strain the juice. add sparkling water to the juice and a sprig of fresh rosemary.
- Herbal Ice Teas– My simple favorite is decaffeinated green ice tea with a crushed peppermint leaf.
- Hibiscus Iced Tea- Please see my previous post HERE
- Green tea with Ginger- Brew green tea with fresh ginger slices and mint leaves.
- Coconut and ?- Coconut water pairs well with just about any fruit, try it with pineapple!
