5 Refreshing Drinks for Scorching Days
Hello friends! It is as hot as the surface of the sun here, and its only May! When you’ve been out in the sun doing yard work or running errands, all you want is a refreshing drink. I gathered some wonderful drinks to quench your thirst, and I think you’ll really enjoy them. (smile)
Always start with plenty of water, of course! But when you’re ready to take a break, sit back, and relax, give these a try.
Side note-I did enjoy my morning tea while sitting on the patio earlier this morning. But only for a short while before heading back inside to rest. I’m still fighting this rotten infection… ugh!
Green Chile Lemonade: Easy to make! Just add sliced green chiles to your favorite pitcher of lemonade for a fantastic, spicy kick.
Minty Lemonade Iced Tea: Combine freshly brewed black tea with fresh lemon juice and mint leaves for a classic thirst quencher.
Watermelon Mint Limeade: Blend fresh watermelon chunks until smooth and strain out the pulp. Mix the sweet watermelon juice with fresh lime juice, a splash of water, and a handful of mint leaves.
Sparkling Lemonade: Combine freshly squeezed lemonade with bubbly club soda for a crisp, fizzy drink.
Cucumber Twist: Add thin cucumber slices and a squeeze of lime to your favorite lemon-lime soda!
Do you have a favorite thirst-quencher when Mother Nature turns up the heat?
If you haven’t added your blog posts to the TFT blog hop you can still do it until midnight! Enjoy your weekend and please remember to drink plenty of water and wear your sunscreen!
