Cucumber Salad

Cucumber Salad

Today’s cucumber salad recipe is simple, I mean really simple! It’s a delicious alternative to a heavy and hot meal, perfect for lunch or dinner. It takes no time at all to prepare. Although you do need to cool the cucumbers prior to making it. Because cucumber salad taste best cool and crisp.

Our garden is abundant with cucumbers. We have both burp-less and sweet success. Two very different tasting cucumbers.  I wish I could give you some. We have been giving them away to whomever will take them, :-).

So many of you are enduring it as well. What are you doing to keep cool? My sweet hubby filled up a bowl with ice and water the other day and I spent an hour or so dunking a facecloth into it and wrapping it around my neck. I swear there was steam coming off of it. If you have read my about page you know I am very uncomfortable right now.. Which makes spending  time in the kitchen  feel like cooking atop a volcano. So
