Tid Bit Tuesday All That Jazz
I have loved smooth jazz music since I was a teen. The amazing sound of Grover Washington Jr’s saxophone hooked me long ago and never let me go. I have numerous albums and cd’s with beautiful saxophone sounds from musicians; David Sanborn , Charley Langer, Rod Tate, Kenny G, Mindi Abair and several other incredibly talented jazz saxophone players. I also have plenty of other albums and cd’s by both old and new jazz artists.
The next time you find yourself relaxing to some smooth jazz sounds, or you hear a talented musician playing the saxophone, know that I am right there with you. I’m swaying along to the smooth jazz sounds and smiling with you.
Here’s a list of a fewof the CD’s I have been listening to recently ( alphabetical order) – Acoustic Alchemy, Boney James, Brian Hughes Chris Standring ,Chuck Loeb,Darren Rahn , Ed Taylor, Euge Groove, George Benson,Jeff Lorber,Jonathan Butler, Keiko Matsui, Michael Lington, Michael Buble’, Mindi Abair ,Nick Colionne, Patrick Lamb, Richard Elliot, Spyro Gyra , Tzeman, Terri Lyne Carrington ,Patrick Yandall
I think every day should have a little sax in it, don’t you? Giggle. 🙂
I had jazz tunes on the music player on Katherines Corner for two years. But sadly the free music player is gone now.

Love a good saxophone player ~ love classical jazz ~ thanks, for ‘coming by my blog’ ~ thanks, namaste, ^_^ ~ Your photo is very creative ~ ^_^
I love smooth jazz, it’s my favorite. When I’m not listening to smooth jazz I am listening to movie soundtracks.
I enjoy it too. I really love relaxing to the crooner style of music as well…Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble’, Harry Connick, Jr.,
Thanks for sharing something for us to remember you by!

There is nothing sexier than a good sax!
It is the “saxiest” musical instrument in my opinion! LOL!

Our smooth jazz radio station switched formats, I had withdrawal pains.
I was at a concert where Grover Washington was filling in for the scheduled opening act. The audience was very unhappy and showed it. Once Grover started playing and displayed his fabulous talent, the venue became so quiet, until the applause, he was so good and the audience rabble rousers were given something special that night.
I am swaying with you!!!
I love what I call night music.
Smiles, Dottie
I love Jazz and Classical even, but I must admit, I have to be in the right frame of mind for it. This is a wonderful tid bit of information about you. 😉 Loved your Sax comment…giggle…too cute!~hugs, xoxo
My mister plays the sax. HA! He really does. He plays it in the National Guard Army Band.
I could listen to Kenny G all day long!
