The Day After Christmas
Hello, I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. We made lots of happy memories. It’s the day after
Our nephew and his new bride will be honeymooning in Park City and that means they’ll be visiting us too. Yippee! We went all high tech for their wedding, okay maybe semi high tech, or moderate high tech or…..okay we went all facebook. For their beautiful wedding. We watched it all from home and it was wonderful. When they come to stay with us on the 29th and 30th I want the house full of Christmas.
They set out on their trek from Indiana yesterday ( yes Christmas day) and they plan to drive straight through the whole 2200 miles to Park City. The longest we drive straight through is 6 hours. Could you, would you, drive 2200 miles straight?
I won’t be going to the shops today. I really don’t care for the day after Christmas shopping in the stores. But, online is a different thing altogether. A beautiful post indeed. I’m not real keen on the day after Christmas shopping either. This year, we actually took down our decorations. I am ready to get on with next year. I have plans for my life, my family, my marriage, my finances, my blog, my business and I am ready to get it started. I hope your visit with your nephew and his new bride are all you envision it to be. And I am praying for them to have traveling mercies. Happy New Year.
Happy Day After Christmas to you, Katherine!!! We enjoyed a nice restful day with lots of cooking which is always a bit fun and challenging living in a trailer, no matter how large. Our daughter drove up early in the morning and is happily staying until Friday ~ a nice vacation for her and a long visit we are happy to have! <3
