Message in a Bottle

It is my pleasure to be joining Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate and several other very talented tablescaper’s for the Welcome Summer Tablescape Blog Hop. My tablescape theme, “Message in a Bottle”, brings thoughts of warm sandy beaches, a bit of boho style, sand between our toes and lovely blue sky picnics shared with my hubby.

If you are visiting from Chasing Quaintness thank you for clicking through and please continue the tour by visiting  Corner of Plaid and Paisley

My tablescape was inspired by my yoga figurines and my Turkish tassel throw.
I cut some scrap fabric for the cake plate and napkins and used strips to make the wood bead garland.
I bought these cute mason jar mugs years ago. Hubby and I went to dinner at a new restaurant and they had these mugs. He really liked them. I searched everywhere and finally found them online. Now you can find them everywhere, giggle.
The beach sign was a gift from a sweet friend.
This throw has been washed multiple times and the cute knotted tassels still look great.
Pillows from the art room add a bit of purple to the chair.
Are you curious about what was written on the message? I wrote to my hubby “no matter the season, warm or cool. One thing is always true, darling, I love you xo”.
Do you remember when I created this summer tablescape? You can see it all HERE.

Izzy kept cool in the tall grass.

Such a sweet message to your husband and a pretty, serene table! I love the shades of purple, ranging from soft to bold and how that matches the accents on your table. A unique take on a coastal theme is always welcome! Lovely job, Katherine – thank you for the inspiration – and so fun hopping with you!

Katherine, I love your white starfish and how you used them in your tablescape. The shells are beautiful and tie into your purple color scheme. Using the word “beach” in wood letters is awesome too. I’ve never seen a purple mason jar ad purple vase ~ so pretty. The purple straws are super cute. A delightful and bright tablescape. So nice to get to know you better.

What an unexpected and delightful surprise to see the purples in a beachy tablescape! I love it, Katherine, it’s truly unique. The soft lilac of the throw is perfect for the vibrant pops of rich color in the bowls, napkins and other elements used. It would be a pleasure to sit with you at your table!

Such a pretty tablescape Katherine. The color scheme is very pretty. That white just pops off the purple. And the theme, messege in a bottle, is perfect for a beach and summer tablescape. Very nicely done.

How unique and pretty Katherine! Your yoga figures are so cute, and it looks like a beach yoga class at dawn or dusk with the pretty hues of purple! The bottle with the message is very romantic, and all your little purple details and accents add so much! The throw makes a great cloth and I love the tassels!

Oh, Katherine, the purple really makes the white pop for your summer table! I love how you incorporated the fabric into your bead garland. Did you thread them on the fabric or just knot the fabric between the beads? You can’t not think of summer with B-E-A-C-H setting the scene, can you? Thanks so much for joining us once again!
