Tastes of Autumn

This time of year has me so giddy. I’m excited about not only the changing colors but the Tastes of Autumn. I’m not licking autumn leaves. Ewww…But the smell of fresh apples at the market destined for pie-making. Cinnamon and spice aromas in candles and pinecones at the local craft shop. The amazing smell of rosemary roasted veggies, and pumpkin spice everything. Yes, they all deserve to be included in the tastes of autumn.

Like many of you, I have my “go-to” recipes for this time of year. I have a pork roast with rosemary veggies in the oven right now. Made with potatoes and carrots and the last zucchini from our garden. At tonight’s dinner, we will definitely be enjoying the tastes of autumn. Hubby wanted me to include my chili recipe on the list.

Chicken pot pie, a variety of soups, soft baked cookies, mac and cheese and a whole lot more can easily be added to the Taste of Autumn list. Do you like crunchy cookies or soft ones?
