Tea and Fairy Cakes Table
Hello friends, I love the anticipation of Spring and the first flowers that wakeup from their winter naps. Tulips, Daffodils, Hyacinth, and Crocus all make their way out to the soil this time of the year. You all know how much I love having flowers on the table.I’m sharing a tea for one table with you today and I think fresh-cut tulips make a perfect addition to my minimalist Tea and Fairy Cakes table.

For my Tea and Fairy Cakes spring tablescape ( table setting) for one, I didn’t have to look far for my decor. This clover filled swan is one of my favorite things and it is usually on the counter in the kitchen. So I think it’s the perfect addition to the table.
I added some pearls to continue my “tablescape signature” of having decor spilling onto the table.
Tea in my pretty Lenox Butterfly Meadow teacup always tastes a little bit better ( wink).
We had some chocolate candy leftover from Valentine’s Day and I thought the color was a nice compliment to the ruffled petal tulips ( I think they are named triumph). The blanket and pillow were background colors for a photo I took earlier in the day. Izzy seemed cozy so I just left it there ( smile).
I made the scalloped edge napkins, I used to sell them in the Katherines Corner shop ( I still have a few more if you are interested please contact me HERE.
It all feels very feminine and part of this minimalist style Tea and Fairy Cakes Table.
I love the little bee detail in the teacup.

What a lovely setting to have tea and dessert, Katherine. The delicate tea cup is so unique and pairs so well with the lovely lace tablecloth. Your use of pearls wrapped around your stemware is a beautiful feminine touch along with a graceful swan centerpiece. Your desserts look so delicious and make for a perfect moment in the day to have some time for one’s self. I love the little doggie in the background too. Katherine, what perfect timing to read your tea table for one, as I am sitting here now with my own Jasmine Pearl cup of tea in my favorite Scottie dog mug! So enjoyed seeing your sweet little pup in the background of your photos too.
