  1. I am furloughed from my job and it has given me time to spend at home without being sick and working on remedying 30+ years of house neglect from working full time. I spent yesterday afternoon in my dining room bringing a cool early summer look and polishing my grandmother’s furniture to a soft glow. We are grateful that we can manage this hiatus without a lot of stress at this time in our lives. Stay safe and keep the posts coming.

  2. You are right, change is the only constant for sure! I have found myself growing and learning through all of this quarantine time, even at my advanced age! I would say I will be even more grateful, from now on, for just the simple freedom to go to a park, to a restaurant, to church. I’ve become more organized too, and I think I might just continue using grocery pick up, after this is over! I spend less and am much more organized and structured with my meal plans now. Hugs to you, friend.

  3. Aw, I love this and I will add being that I work from home even though I have had to readjust my schedule having all here home now, I am still indeed able to do my job at home. So, that is a blessing in disguise I suppose. Hugs and have a great week ahead now xoxo <3

  4. My favorite book is The Constant Princess by Philippa Gregory. I loved Katherine of Aragon’s morals – she was religious and would not give up her beliefs even though it led to her death. She was kind, loving and forgiving.
