Spring Cleaning Outside the Bucket
Hello friends, I’m stepping outside of the “bucket” and sharing some of my spring cleaning tips and what is done every year. You might not find them on your standard sponge and bucket deep clean list.

We use a lot of natural cleaners in our home, I must admit, I use Lysol products this time of the year also. Vinegar is our go to for cleaning nearly everything! A gallon or more of distilled white vinegar is always in our pantry and kept with our cleaning supplies. It cleans everything! It also kills bacteria ( if you use it full strength). Vinegar is an acid though and can damage wood or natural stone, but you can use it practically everywhere else.
I use baking soda to clean and freshen our garbage disposal. It is mildly abrasive too, so it can also clean the blades of the garbage disposal. I’ve shared green cleaning tips HERE with you before. You can find tips on cleaning wood cutting boards HERE.
There are tons of “make it at home cleaning supplies” on blogs and Pinterest. These are two of my favorites-
Green Willow Homestead -Toxin-free, zero waste cleaning products to make at home.

Kelsey is also the author of the E-Book, “The Holistic Home”. She shares the simple habit changes and small actions you can take to clear out the bad and in doing so, heal your body and help the earth. You can download your copy HERE.

I look forward to seeing you here on Thursday for the TFT blog hop link party.
I almost forgot- Happy Cinco de Mayo!

This is a great list, things people don’t think about. I am so ready to take a couple weeks off and get to these things. The weather is finally getting warmer and there is so much to do inside and outside.

Hello Pamela, I enjoyed my visit to your lovely blog. I watched your terrific tutorial for the Easter egg candlesticks, loved it too. Happy to be a new subscriber. Hugs!
My wife tends to bleach everything, but I know she uses vinegar and water to clean mirrors. I did recently do the oven, so that’s done!
Thanks so much for the spring cleaning printables and truly appreciate it!! Hugs and have a wonderful week ahead now xoxo <3
Great tips Katie – I totally hadn’t thought of several of them, but now I’m almost afraid to look behind the refrigerator! 😉 That will be cleaned asap! Thanks so much for the new spring cleaning perspective, and see you on Thursday for sure! Take care!
