DIY Dough Bowl Centerpieces for Thanksgiving Table
Hello friends, today on the blog, I’m sharing some lovely DIY dough bowl centerpieces for your Thanksgiving Table. First rule of any centerpiece is…never create a centerpiece that is too tall. You want to be able to see everyone. If you aren’t certain, sit in each chair and see if the centerpiece will block anyone’s view. A tall centerpiece is perfect for the buffet table though.(smile) Okay lets get our DIY dough bowl centerpiece rolling! Sorry I couldn’t refuse the pun. (smile)
Before you start, decide what your ideal result will be. Examples; traditional farmhouse, floral, food and floral, Thanksgiving cornucopia, autumn colors or leaves, etc.
If you don’t have a dough bowl you can use something similar, like a platter, plate, large bowl, etc. If you’d like to have a dough bowl to decorate for future seasons and holidays, I’m happy to provide three links below. Please use coupon code KATHERINESCORNER when you shop at Wild Oats Interiors for a 15% discount on your total at checkout.

Now that you’ve established what style you prefer it’s time to gather what you need to fill your bowl. Try to use things you already have at home.
Start by placing floral foam in the bottom of the bowl. This will give it height and a place to stick your floral picks. I like to cover the foam with some dried Spanish moss…. Rats! I had a snafu with the photos for my dough bowl, so let’s start filling it up with a little help from these talented bloggers.
