A Resurrection Message, Happy Easter 2025
Dear friends, happy Easter! Please join me as we celebrate the greatest triumph in human history. We commemorate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. “He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.” Matthew 28:6. Let the joy of the resurrection fill your hearts. Let the hope that springs from the empty tomb renew your spirit. With open hearts and minds please join me as we reflect on the power and the promise of Easter.
Can you imagine standing at the tomb and watching the rock rolled away from the entrance? Then you discover Jesus was gone. He was the one they loved. He was the one they followed. He was the one they saw crucified and buried.
Jesus paid the ultimate price for our sins. His crucifixion and resurrection over death declare the promise of new life. Victory over sin, and renewal of faith and hope. Sorrow turned to joy, and their despair to hope, just as ours can when we turn to Christ. Life’s challenges, loss, pain, and uncertainty may sometimes feel overwhelming. But, the resurrection assures us that God is working to bring new life out of every situation. This is the foundation of our faith and hope.

The resurrection declares that sin and death have been defeated. When Jesus bore the weight of our sins on the cross, He paid the ultimate price for humanity’s redemption. But it was the resurrection that proclaimed the victory, proving that death could not hold Him.
Easter is a resounding “yes”, to the question of life after death. Let this victory give you confidence. No sin is too great, no failure too deep for the redeeming power of Jesus. Through His resurrection, we are forgiven and set free to live a new life in Him.
What the Apostle Paul wrote in his letter to the Corinthians lays the cornerstone of our faith, a promise of eternal life, and a source of resolute hope. It is the foundation of Christianity explained in steadfast clarity: “For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Because He conquered the grave, we don’t need to fear death. Because Jesus rose, we know the powerful testament to God’s love and His promise to us of eternal life. Easter reminds us that even in our darkest hours, hope is alive. As Romans 8:11 tells us, “The Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you.” That same power that raised Christ dwells within us, empowering us to face each day with hope and courage.
Friends, please join me in prayer.
Merciful Lord, on this beautiful Easter day we thank you for the incredible gift of Jesus. We are grateful for His sacrifice on the cross. We celebrate the triumph of His resurrection. Please fill our hearts with the power of Your love and spirit. We will live as people of victory, hope, and love. We pray that the reality of the resurrection will fill our hearts. May it transform us. May it empower us to live lives worthy of His great sacrifice and victory. We will share the good news bringing hope and light into the world. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen
