  1. Oh I am a total classic Christmas gal. I love to watch all the old movies and specials and I love the older versions of the songs. The only way to go for me. Katherine have a wonderful Christmas and I hope you and your family have a blessed New Year too.

  2. It isn’t a classic – yet – but I always have to watch “Polar Express!” I love that movie even without grandchildren watching with me! Oops…now you know I am weird! LOL!

  3. My favorite movie is “The Bishop’s Wife.” Such a classic with great actors. Just saw it last week. I’ll never get tired of seeing it. Loved the taxi driver!

  5. My husband and I just watched Miracle on 34th Street for the first time this month. I love classic movies too. One of my favorites is Life With Father. I’m looking forward to watching The Bishop’s Wife!

  9. I love love LOVE holiday movies to Katherine! I just watched The Bishop’s Wife (the one with Carey Grant) last weekend. I own my own copy. Joyful! And what is Christmas without watching It’s a Wonderful Life? That’s a must!! And call me crazy, but I just have to watch It’s Christmas Charlie Brown every year too. Haha!

  10. My husband stayed up this past weekend and watched HOLIDAY with Katharine Hepburn and loved it! I unfortunately slept through…he says this is now one of his favorites! I really want to see it! It would be difficult for me to pick a favorite…I love ALL Christmas movies…and I just cannot get enought of them. These are all among the ones I will not miss!

  11. I look for one of the classic versions of Charles Dickens’, Christmas Carol, too. Charlie Brown’s Christmas! Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol showed up on one of those new/old channels a few weeks ago.

    Mostly, I try to see all those you listed plus I like the movie of The Walton’s Christmas with Patricia Neal, but that’s rarely shown. The Bishop’s Wife and Christmas in CT are favorites.

    Don’t shoot your eye out! I double dog dare you to … ha ha.

  13. Just watched “Miracle” for the umpteenth time. Haven’t seen “It’s A Wonderful Life” yet, this year. Used to watch “A Christmas Story” with the kids, but haven’t watched it in the past few years.
