  1. I used to have a garden shed at the old place. I loved it. I designed it just like I wanted it and it was perfect. Big potting bench, sink, seed mat.. ahhh.. I wish I had one here. Yours is terrific! I love it to bits.

  2. What a cute garden shed! I just converted mine to a chicken coop to replace the flimsy one and keep the girls snug for the winter. I’m hoping to build a bigger shed for gardening, but that won’t be until spring.

  3. Oh my goodness! I’ve been dreaming about a shed with windows and window boxes for quite a while. The guys did a terrific job building it. I know you’ll have loads of fun out there. Thanks for hosting this party. Helen

  4. Oh it is so gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing this in steps. I felt as if I were there as it was constructed. Those darling flower boxes really set it off. Have a beautiful week sweetie. Mina

  5. Your cottage shed is beautiful! We have an old aluminum building that is currently our “barn” for everything from greasy ATV and lawnmowers to wood working tools – I so want one of these for myself and my own stuff {is that selfish?} Your helpers did a great job!

  6. The mountain view is gorgeous! Congrats on the shed, love the window boxes. Hope you get that cottage by the water very soon. Your vision board is something I see every so often, I keep meaning to make one, I think it will have to become a priority ♥

  7. Oh Katherine, I am so jealous! My husband and I have been wanting to build a little house like this in our backyard for awhile now. We would add about three windows and make it into a playhouse for our kids. Now that they’re a little older, it would be more of a music or art room.

I have an idea for a post for you – do you think your husband and nephew could put together a tutorial with steps on how to make this type of house? Have a great weekend!

  10. Lovely, I agree that the fence needed to go. The guys did a great job, I’m impressed! But the perfect complement to all this work are those gorgeous mountains in the background. I love how they look in your “foundation” picture.

  11. That’s a handsome shed, Katie, a great d.i.y. project from start to finish. You can feel proud of it. We had a very lovely shed on our property but the homeowner’s association forced us to remove it because it was somehow in violation of the rules.

  12. This is beautiful…it is wonderful to watch a dream come to life. I love the flowering tree in the corner of the photos 😉

Love each other as God loves you xo
