  1. Happy really belated Christmas, Katherine!

And speaking of going through older emails (from your recent post about having to delete 3 years of posts), I am just seeing your Christmas email. 🙂 I decorated with one of our smaller trees this year after using the King of Christmas large one last year. Just reds and golds and some family ornaments but not a lot. Our mantel was simple with two gilded angels, pine boughs and an Advent wreath. It was really calming and simple.

I hope you have a lovely 2026 despite having to decide about which blog posts to keep and which to remove due to space. Yeah, I didn’t want to pay Google the extra $$ they wanted to keep old photo emails. I have those photographs on flash drives so if I really need them, they are there.

Happy last week of January 2026,
    Barb 🙂

    1. Thank you so much. I’ll be taking it all down tomorrow, but I enjoyed the more traditional colors this year.(smile) How wonderful you had cookie day with your great granddaughter too! It’s such a precious way to make memories every year. Wishing you lots of happy memory making in 2026. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. Hugs
