Hello friends, I’ve been in bed fighting an infection. But I couldn’t let mothers day go unrecognized. So…. I hope you enjoy this Mother’s Day “poemy” tribute. (smile)

There is a love that doesn’t start with just a single name,
No matter what you’re called, the love is still the same.
It’s in the way a heart provides a safe and sacred space,
For those who know that love is spoken in the softest grace.

To the mothers who felt the first heartbeat,
To the mothers who waited for the call,
To the dads who take on both the roles,
To the aunties and the grandmas,
To the stepmothers and mentors,
To those who mother furry babies,

To all the loving mother figures who give us light in a dark place,
The hand that stays the fever,
The voice that calms the storm,
And the spirit that can take a house and make it a home.

Here’s to every woman, every mother figure, every loving heart,
Who mastered the most selfless and the most demanding part.
For all you give and all you are, in every quiet way,
You are the pulse of all our lives. Happy Mother’s Day!
