Bringing the Outside In
Hello friends, the birds are singing, the flowers are blooming, and the grass never looked greener. I love this time of the year, don’t you? Every year I bring the outside in. Lilacs right now but peonies soon. I think there’s an undeniable magic in bringing freshly picked spring flowers inside. Their delicate fragrance fills the air. Their vibrant hues uplift the mood and their natural beauty brings a sense of balance.
Any spring flowers are sure to enhance the mood of a room. From the cheerful yellows of daffodils and the silky curves of tulips, you can enjoy a variety of unique flowers. The scent of lilacs is delicate and intoxicating. It’s one of my spring favorites. It offers a beautiful way to bring the outdoors in.

Our viburnum bush is still fully loaded with gorgeous blooms the size of softballs! But our lilacs are dwindling and leaving lush green bushes behind.

If you don’t have fresh flowers from your garden I say, Go Faux! Welcome Spring’s Embrace with Fresh or Faux Flowers. A simple but impactful way to have spring in your home which requires very little effort.

I had to include this gorgeous photo, but unfortunately I have no source to link it to. I found it when I was looking for purple decor.

If you missed my lilac tour of a few of our lilacs you can see it HERE.
