Halloween Chocolate Cupcakes
Happy Halloween! Tonight there will be a parade of sweet and scary little ones dressed in their favorite costumes, all asking for treats. For all of the trick or treaters who stay home I have some Halloween Chocolate Cupcakes that will make you smile as wide as Jack o Lantern.
Please some back to Katherines Corner tomorrow too for an even BIGGER treat.
What You Need
My chocolate cake recipe HERE –cupcake pans, lined and lightly sprayed with cooking spray-Follow all of the directions but cook cupcakes for 15-20 minutes or until a wooded toothpick poked in the center comes out clean.
What You Need for Butter cream Frosting
2 Cups butter (softened)
8 Cups confectioners’ sugar
3 tsp. milk
2 ½ tsp. vanilla extract
Electric mixer
Mixing bowl
Frosting piping bag ( optional) candy Corn, candy pumpkins, sprinkles etc, optional
Lets Make It!
In a bowl combine butter and sugar and beat on medium speed until well combined, add the milk and vanilla and beat for an additional 3 to 5 minutes or until smooth and creamy.
Make enough for 24 cupcakes
After your cupcakes have cooled top with a a dollop of piped frosting and any sprinkles candy corn or candy pumpkins you desire.
