Sunny Saturday
It’s early here on this sunny Saturday, just a little after 7am. Hubby and our nephew are in the garage working on our car. The sun is shining across the floor and Izzy found a sweet spot to warm his tummy. I am having my second cup of tea and losing the battle of the eyebrows. Seriously… I’ve drawn them too thick! They look like two caterpillars chasing each other up a hill. So I’ll wipe them off and start again. I wonder…. do they have eyebrow whisperers?
The garage sale a couple of Sunny Saturdays ago went okay, not anything like those sales you see on HGTV. You know the ones, people are lining up in droves to buy what you must discard. I did have three people knocking on my door at 7am ( garage sale started at 7:30) asking to see what was for sale. Did I hear a moan? Are you saying no don’t do it, ask them to come back at 7:30? Too late..done, LOL.
I opened the garage and as soon as they looked around, (nobody made a purchase) I promptly closed the door again and reopened at 7:30. I sold about a quarter of my shop inventory. Which is helpful. If you missed my yard sale tips please click HERE.

Advertising is the most difficult part of having a shop and the most expensive too. The coffer is empty and a new moth has joined the current moth in my wallet, wink. The temperature is already 68°F and threatens to be 100°F degrees today! The nationwide heatwave is devastating in some places. Hoping you are all well and staying cool. A tall glass of ice tea ( with a sprig of fresh mint) is perfect ( but still drink plenty of water please) on a sunny Saturday.

Aw, Izzy is so precious. Ha, I laughed at your eyebrow predicament, because I have that same one every day! It is a bit of an artistic challenge to get the eyebrows right, isn’t it? It’s funny, when I was young, my eyebrows were so huge and thick, I couldn’t keep them tamed. Now I have none and have to draw them on.
