15 Minute Centerpiece
Hello friends, do you have 15 minutes? Because that’s all the time it took me to create this simple centerpiece for our dining table. In the past I’ve always had fresh flowers on our dining table. But a recent bit of rearranging found me using the sofa table for flowers instead. That left me with a very bland looking table. So I grabbed a few things and made a centerpiece, in 15 minutes!
What You Need
- dough bowl or other vessel that suits your decor
- 3 candles
- 1 garland
- 2 small brown paper bags (optional)
- wire snips
- 1 faux greenery garland ( length depends on the size of your bowl)
- Floral bundle, assorted accent flowers, I just used what I had
- 15 minutes
I began by placing a brown paper lunch bag in the bottom of the dough bowl. The candles are wax and I didn’t want them to leave wax inside the bowl ( this is optional). After I had my candles in place I started to lay the garland inside the bowl and around the candles. I wove it in between and all around the inside of the bowl and fluffed it a bit.
Then using my wire snips I cut pieces of white from my floral bundle. I added them throughout the garland filled bowl. Ta Daa, 15 minutes later, a lovely low profile centerpiece. It is perfect for my rearranged dining room.
What do you think? Is this a centerpiece you could make and use in your home?
I look forward to seeing you on Thursday for the TFT blog hop ( smile)
